Judaica museum named “Wexner Center” has been working in “Moria” Jewish Community Center for 5 years. It was created on the basis of exhibits presented by the Jewish community of Baltimore (USA). The museum collection contains religious and every day articles connected with Jewish holidays and different events in the life of the Jews.

This wonderful illustrative material is widely used for the implementation of children’s programs.

The Museum also enables its staff to use it for classes in which return to the Jewish tradition and Jewish values takes place in informal and amicable atmosphere.

Museum works with students of Odessa Universities and Institutes who, in their curriculum, have such a subject as “Religion“. As soon as they approach Judaism, they come to our museum to be introduced to the Jewish culture and values.

Within the museum activities there’s been created a new program “Virtual Wexner Center” that is focused on Judaica in the form of a quiz. It may be easily reached on the Internet.

In the near future we plan our Wexner Center to become an integral part of the “History of Odessa Jews ”museum.
