by Isador Reisman Mr. Reisman's love of his home town is like so many survivors' sentiments I have read. The celebration of faith gave a purpose and rich harmony to daily life, obscuring the pitiful realities.. making it bearable…even beautiful. Mr Reisman taught Hebrew in the Hebrew schools, and lectured at the College of Jewish Studies, in Cleveland, Ohio. This article was reproduced by Aline Bohm Greif in her family-history book written in August, 1982, a copy of which was given to the Cleveland Jewish Genealogy Society. Arlene Blank Rich, President gave it to me (August, 1993) as one of Ms Greif's grandparents was born in Mielnitza, Galicia, Austria now named Mel'nitsa Podol'skaya, Ukraine.
