Julius Reiter 1905 These words uncle Julius Reiter (1882-1950), wrote his mother, Chana Reiter. Actually someone had told Julius his parents were aging and it was time for him to bring them over. He, quite the charmer I'm told, and apple of Chana's eye, persuaded his parents to leave, Mielnitza, Galicia, Austria. As far back as the 1700s, Mielnitza was the ancestral town of the Reiters.
