Mr Alpern sent me his book in December 2003 after he had visited in this web site. Mr Alpern was born in Storojinet, and in his book he tells his unique and authentic story about loss, surviving and spirit through the eyes of 12 years old child during WW-2 in Romania. Mr Alpern lives in Winnipeg - Canada today. I would recommend to read his book for everyone.
