Hi Eli,

 I respond to your call on Slonim page in kehihalinks. Thank you very much for taking the care of this page.

My gggparents were Ilya BERLIN and Dvora BERCOWITZ. Dvora was born in Slonim approx.1831 and lived there until she emigrated to France in 1888. After Ilya divorced her, she remarried approx. 1867, to another Slonim resident, Berek VILENTZIK.

My ggfather Salomon Elie BERLIN, son of Ilya BERLIN and Dvora,  was born in Derechin, in 1857. He first lived in Slonim, then in Rostov on Don,( presumably )  until he emigrated to France approx.1880.

I would love to know more about the life of these people in Slonim.

I attach three pictures, a painting of Salomon ( date unknown), a photo portrait of Dvora taken in Slonim,  and a photo of Salomon with three friends , all of them members of a society ODRR, which I have not been able to identify. Salomon is the one in the right corner. The photo was taken in Kovno.
