Skalica

Holocaust
Yizkor

The fate of the Jews from Skalica was not different than all of Slovak's Jews: they were deported to death camps, most of them in mid 1942.
 The most important source for the Holocaust Era in Skalica is Yad Vashem.

Unfortunately and shamefully Yad Vashem refused to give us permission to publish the lists of the Holacaust victims from Skalica in this website.
We can only provide a link to Yad Vashem's "Central database of Shoah Victims' Names" website:

 http://db.yadvashem.org/names/search.html?language=en

On the search window click on "Advanced Search";
In "Additional Info" at the bottom, make sure that "all" is ticked.
 choose one of the three following options, in "Place", and search:

Skalica, Yad Vashem list, "Born in Skalica" -   67 Victims .
as of 31/01/2015

Skalica, Yad Vashem list, "Living in Skalica" before the Holocaust - 21 Victims .
as of 31/01/2015

Skalica, Yad Vashem list, "Being in Skalica" during the Holocaust - 61 Victims.
as of 31/01/2015
