Feivish and Esther Gottesfeld

FEIVISH (SHRAGA) GOTTESFELD (born 1904) and his mother ESTHER WIESENTHAL GOTTESFELD (born ca. 1869; daughter of Leah and Josef Leib Wiesenthal). Feivish was an ardent Zionist. Although he was the sole support of his widowed mother and it was difficult for him to leave her, he made aliyah in the 1930s. Esther perished in the Holocaust.
