WOOLF, a row higher, stands ROSA (Mrs. LEVY, who lives in Capetown) [this is the wife of David Levy, who died before Joe's father, and is ROSA (CAMBER) LEVY, aunt of Norman Camber] and to the right of her stands FINKE BETTEN, with a hat (who now lives in Zeerust) [about 200 miles S.E. of Johannesburg]; MAX (MOTTEL) SCHNEID in uniform up on top [No. 18 in Fire Brigade Picture] (lives in Johannesburg). Amongst the others in the picture are LOUIS [LEIBKE] WOOLF (brother of M. WOOLF who lives in Johannesburg), stands near the top [Joe's father]; LEIZER MILNER (who died in Johannesburg) stands behind DAVID ROTBLATT; GERSHON BETTEN with glasses (lives in Wolsley Cape); ROCHELE GLICK (now Mrs. BORSKI, Capetown) stands behind M. WOOLF; ETHEL [SCHNEID] MILNER (Johannesburg), sister of P. or F. SCHNEID, behind LEAH BAER on the left; RAHEL [ROCHKE] WOOLF (M. WOOLF's sister), on top in the center in a uniform hat; SLOMO [SCLEIMCHICK] SCHNEID (Johannesburg) stands next to the half branch of the tree left; MAX LEVIN and his wife Mrs. SARAH (nee GREENBLATT, who now live in America), top left.

The majority on this photograph perished in Lithuania.
