There were originally two cemeteries in Sečovce — the "old" cemetery and the "new" cemetery. The old cemetery was destroyed during The War; later, it was paved over and made into a parking lot in the 1970s. The new cemetery, approximately 70 meters by 30 meters (229.60 feet by 98.40 feet), consists of 100 to 500 tombstones.
