| This is an old grave with raised letters, but there is
no year in the inscription, despite the date. The year may be in
the two illegible lines at the bottom or more likely above the inscription.
The date is Tuesday, 27 Shevat, which gives us six possible years in the period 1810-1840: 1815, 1818, 1821, 1824, 1825, 1828. The name on the stone is Naftali ben Baruch, but there is probably a second name for at least the father. |
