This man died on the first day of Rosh Hashanah 5586 (13 September
1825) and the raised letters are typical of that period.
The man seems to be a rabbi - Pinchas ben Israel ben Pinchas, but neither Pinchas is clear. If that is the case, we may be talking about a Pikholz. This grave should be looked at again in person, more carefully. |
