town of Przasnysz is
located in the county/district (powiat) of
Przasnysz, in the
voivodeship (province) of Mazovia, on the Węgierka River. It covers an area of 9.71 square miles and has a population of 17,062 [1] Przasnysz County includes the town of Przasnysz, Gmina* Przasnysz, Gmina Chorzele, Gmina Czernice Borowe, Gmina Jednorożec, Gmina Krasne and Gmina Krzynowloga Mala. The
town of Przasnysz serves as the headquarters for
the county government and for
Gmina Przasnysz. Gmina Przasnysz is a rural area, comprised of villages and settlements. Its territory does not include the town of Przasnysz. It has a population of 7,165 (2006) and contains 71.0 square miles. [2]
