Retired. Worked with people of all ages in Hospital settings and clinics (both medical and in mental health) In Israel worked at the School of occupatioanl therapy as a student instructor. Last job was working at a cancer clinic.

My father was born in 1908 in Balduinstein, Germany. Left in 1936 as a refugee and initially lived and worked in Jo'burg. Moved to Pretoria at the beginning of the 50's and died in 1965. Worked as a manager of a building materials firm. Is buried in Pretoria.

My Mother was born in Wiesbaden, Germany in 1913. Left Germany as a refugee in 1936 and started working as a seamstress in Jo'burg.Moved to Pretoria in the early 50's and stayed there until her spouses death in 1965 when she moved back to Jo'burg with my sister Hazel Pollack (nee Stern). She came to the States in the 1980's and lived in Los Angeles until her death at the age of 91 years and 7 months.
