Dear group,
today I noticed that Posen city registration cards are completely online
now! They provide a plenty of genealogical information (surnames, given
names, date of birth, place of birth, profession, movements, marriage date,
date of death, parents, spouses, children and so on). In many cases you get
information on three generations.
Reading is sometimes somewhat difficult.

The cards are ordered according to the Polish phonetical alphabet,
which differs from usual arrangements.
The register goes only until the letter P http://e-kartoteka.net/index.php
- but further additions are announced in the Basia Database
Be careful: there are some bad transcriptions and not all links are correct!
