The Litvak Memory Garden was officially opened in September 2014

There are memory stones dedicated for David Wolfsohn, Berek Yoselewich, Al Jolson and Herman Kallenbach and ten iron apple trees in memory of Plunge, Plateliai, Telshiai, Viekshniai, Mosedis, Panevezhis, Vabalninkas, Alytus, Kalvarija and Alsedzhiai Jewish communities.

The Bunka Fund is looking for sponsors for other community trees and memory stones for famous Litvaks.

Yaakov Bunka died on July 30. He was the last Jew in Plunge. His son Eugene continues his work....... http://jbfund.lt
