I, Adam Barajnski, was born on May 29, 1914 in Tropin district of Plotzk as the legitimate son of the dealer couple Meritz and Frieda Baran, the latter born Schmierlack. I also bore the name Baran until 1945, but then I adopted the Polish name Barajnski in the Flossenbürg concentration camp, so that as a Jew I was protected from persecution. My parents were born in Trepin, Trepin district of Plotz, Poland. I don't know when. They also married there in front of the rabbi. My parents and I are of the Mosaic religion. My parents are Polish nationals, I myself am a national. I married Blima, née Kirentzki, on December 12, 1937 before the rabbi in Warsaw. From this marriage a daughter was born. My wife and daughter perished in Auschwitz in 1942. I am now a widower and live in Pegnitz.
