In house nr. 161 lived Icikas Svilovicius.

In house nr. 162 lived Mausas Geras.

In house nr. 163 lived the family Ber Lurja (Lurje, Luria). The house is registered under the name of  Icikas Lurje

Before the war, the passage and the apartments were just an empty spot where Luria kept his storage.

Ber Lurje traded in flax and in linen. He was a woodcutter as well.

At the Vilnius gatve, situated at the south of Vytauto gatve, Ber Lurje kept a fur workshop and a wood workshop. It was a well-to-do-family.

Kalman Lurja ( Luria) emigrated to South Africa before1941.
