Rutaleh (Ruth or Ruta) was not from Pakruojis, but she lived in Kovno (Kaunas).
She was the daughter of Dovid Igdalski, one of the brothers of
Israel Igdalski.
Rutaleh and Faiveleh Igdalski (from Kovno also), who was the son of
Esser
Igdalski, one of the brothers of Israel Igdalski, were taken and killed in the
Kinder Aktia, the Great Action of Kovno.
In 1941, the Germans killed more than 4,200 ghetto children in this
Action, nearly half of the child population of the ghetto of Kovno.
