The parents of the Karlinsky family were Fishel and Jenny Karlinsky. The had eight children: Rochel, Dinya, Havah, Chaim, Mayer, Shmeryl, Yosel and Elya. All settled in Chicago where they formed the Fishel family club, named after the father, Fishel,who was left in Motol.

The father of the Pollack family of Motol was Moishe Mickel Pollack.
His children were:

William (Velvel) and Lena Chez Kaplan arrived in the United States on the Graf Waldersee on August 3, 1907. The brought their eight children: Samuel (b. 1873), Abraham (b. about 1878), Harry (b. about 1882), David (b. about 1886), Rivkah (b. about 1887) Sarah (b. about 1891), Moische/Morris (b. about 1894) and Cyrl/Ida (b. about 1898)
