Plaque in Memory of Dawid Sierakowiak (1924-1943)

As a teenager, Dawid Sierakowiak wrote a Lodz ghetto diary that was  discovered after the war and published in several languages, including the English edition, The Diary of Dawid Sierakowiak: Five Notebooks from the Lodz Ghetto, edited by Alan Adelson and translated by Kamil Turowski. A plaque honoring his memory has been placed on the wall of the Lodz cemetery. His burial place is unknown.
