U.S. Department of State - Joseph Jaffe Letter

The following letter comes from a collection at the U.S. National Archives entitled Records of the Department of State Relating to Internal Affairs of the Soviet Union, 1930-1939.  It contains reports about activities of American interest in the pre World War II Soviet Union, including accounts of conferences, communist activities, living conditions, unions, trains, and collective farms.

Note that the letter is talking about Kupiskis native Joseph Jaffe. There is not enough information in the letter to tell us which Jaffe family Joseph belongs to but he states that he is going to visit his mother and sister in Kupiskis.
