Leah Trapido
(born 1841 in Kupiskis), the daughter of Naoch Trapido and Bluma Kagan,
married Zundel Ber Ginsburg (born in Kupiskis in 1840). Seven of
their eight children came to the United States and only Orel (Orchik) and his
family stayed in Kupiskis. (Orel later came to the US and
died in St.Louis, but his wife and children remained in Lithuania and
were killed in the Holocaust.) |

Ginsburg, the great grandson of Leah Trapido and Zundel Ber Ginsburg, and
the great great grandson of Naoch and Bluma Kagan Trapido. .
On his father's side, Aaron is the grandson of Pessia Trapido Hoffman and
Abraham (Gafanowitz) Hoffman, the great grandson of Shlomo and Frieda
Trapido, and the great great grandson of Naoch and Bluma Kagan Trapido.
(His maternal great grandmother Leah Trapido Ginsburg and his paternal
great grandfather Shlomo Trapido were brother and sister.) |
