The Jews of Kraków and its Surrounding Towns

Kraków Survivors

Note: This data has been temporarily removed as it is being transferred to the main JewishGen website.

As part of our ongoing collaboration with the Kraków Archives, archive staff have now provided us with a new list of over 10,000 names. The list comprises those who survived the Holocaust and who were either born in Kraków, lived in Kraków after The War, or else owned property in Kraków.

The original documents often include additional information such as 'Address', 'Occupation', 'Comments', and 'Sources'. Copies of the original documents can be ordered by e-mailing the Kraków Archives.

Acknowledgments: The availability of this material is entirely due to the efforts exerted by the Director of the Kraków Archives in Grodzka Street, Mr. Robert Bogusz. Kehilalinks/Kraków extends its sincere appreciation to him and his staff. Thanks also to Miriam Romm who was instrumental in liaising with the Kraków Archives.
