Some observations by Mrs. Helen Schreiber
- All the houses and shops in the Rynek belonged to Jews.
- The Sternglass family lived in the large building with the black
roof
and also had their Ladies Clothing Store there.
- The far corner building with the turret was the Tax Office of Mielec
- The round kiosk next to the black roofed building sold chocolates.
Mrs.
Schreiber remembers that all the Mielec young people went to buy their
sweets at the kiosk
- The second kiosk, in the middle of the square belonged to Leib
Strauss,
originally from Debica
