Jacobson Solly and Julie (nee Lurie)


Daughter Linda Ragless, writes (in February 2018): My father Solly was born in Port Elizabeth on 28.12.1922 and died aged 67 in Cape Town on 30.10.1990. He worked for OK Bazaars in Kimberley as a salesman at the time that my parents got married.  He then worked as a sales representative, for his uncles Louis and Bennie David in the wholesale firm, A David and Co until we left Kimberley in 1972 when he started working for Margate Textiles in Cape Town. Mom, Julie (Lurie), was born in Kimberley on 15.03.1928 and passed in Cape Town aged 89 on 24.09.2017. (see Louis David family page for more on the family)

CHILDREN: Robert married to Romy Gordon – Kids Eva and Louis.

Andrea married to Emilio Bonalumi - kid ..Lia.


Adele and Robert Cilliers
