The town of Goniadz is in the Podlaskie Voivodeship (province) in northeastern Poland. The town is near the Biebrzanska Valley, on the Biebrza River water trail connecting the lakes of the Augustowska Plain and Elk Lakeland with the Narew River. Goniadz is approximately 30 miles northwest of Bialystok, and 45 miles southwest of Grodno. The town’s coordinates are 53°29' N, 22°45' E.
