This photograph of the children of Beyla Cohen and Jacob Waxman was taken around 1910 in New York. Ida Waxman-Einbinder was born in Kalarash in 1892 and her brother Isidor was born in 1888. Izzie married Fannie Schwartz in 1911. Their New York-born children were: Hyman (born 1912), Lillie (born 1914), Jacob (born 1916), Ruth (born 1918), David (born 1922), and Edward (born 1930). A founding member of the Kalarasher Bessarabier Progressive Association, Izzie owned a laundry in Williamsburgh, NY. He and his family also lived in Williamsburgh, in the Lee Avenue house purchased by his brother-in-law Jacob Wiesenthal.
