Dear Cousin Mittman,
I received your card today from February 6th and read it with much joy. I am, thank G-D, healthy and my condition is as alwaysÉ..Dear cousin, I thank you very much for your kindness. I have not received the 15 rubles yet. I have only got today the first notice.
Of your brother-in-law Mendel, and also his son Leiser I can unfortunately, give you no news. Here there is only military. There are no civilians here. The civilians captured are in Russia. But I will continue to make inquiries.
Greetings and kisses,
Bergman Kalman
