Marriage of Clara (Chaika) Ptak to Leo Ingwer (New York, 1939)
Standing, l-r: Sol (Srul Usha) Ptak (born Vengrov); Leo (Leibl) Ptak (born Vengrov, 1919); Clara (Chaika) Ptak (born Vengrov, 1916), Leo Ingwer; Ruby (Rivim) Ptak (born Vengrov, 1923); and Paul (Pesach) Ptak (born Vengrov, 1926). Sitting: Sylvia (Tsivya) Nortman Ptak (born Vengrov, 1898) and Harry (Hersh Isak) Ptak (born Vengrov, 1888). Harry Ptak came to America in 1928, his son Sol in 1939. The rest of the family emigrated from Vengrov to New York in 1936. Harry (Hersh Isak) and Sylvia (Tsivya) Ptak are buried in the Congregation Kol Israel Anshei Wengrower/First Wengrower Ladies Society plot in Beth David Cemetery in Elmont, New York.
