The Ritz (and Ritch, Rich), Rankin, and Savin Families

The family names were: Ritz (and Ritch, Rich), Rankin, and Savin. Henoch Ritz was born in about 1840. His father Aaron traded wood and logs on the river that went to Riga, and made a decent living. He married Rachel and they had a son Wolf. Wolf went to New York. Henoch and his wife Rachel immigrated to New York, in the 1890’s. They joined their son and his daughters Sara, Channa and Dora. Their son David worked as a Cantor in St. Petersburg. No one knows what happened to him.
The family eventually all settled in Connecticut.
