Some time ago, the American Jewish Historical Society (AJHS) microfilmed the incorporation records in New York County (1848 to 1920) of many Jewish organizations, including landsmanshaftn. Dr. Michael Feldberg, Director of AJHS, located at The Center for Jewish History, 15 West 16th Street, New York, NY 10011, kindly gave us permission to use a copy of the incorporation records of the Ushpoler Benevolent Association, organized in 1906, for this website. |
