Yablanov images

Photograph of the synagogue in Yablanov taken by Geroge Jacob Anker, a Jewish lieutenant in the German Army. Anker won the Iron Cross First Class and took the photo in 1917-1918 Anker was born in 1885 in Danzig, escaped to Copenhagen in 1939, and died in Los Angeles in 1955. The photo was submitted by Anker's grandson George Fogelson.
