A Needlework Tapestry by Chana Wiesenthal Herzog

Return to "A Needlework Tapestry by Chana Wiesenthal Herzog"

CHANA WIESENTHAL HERZOG was a religious woman who, after her marriage, always covered her hair. Those who knew her described her as "a Yiddischer mamma who stayed at home, cooked, cleaned, and sewed." Her brother Samuel said that she was "skinny, but nice." Chana, her husband, and their four children died in the Holocaust.
