A Needlework Tapestry by Chana Wiesenthal Herzog

Return to "A Needlework Tapestry by Chana Wiesenthal Herzog"

This needlework tapestry was embroidered by CHANA WIESENTHAL HERZOG (daughter of Hersh Eliyah Wiesenthal and Ettel Weissman) and was sent to America as a gift for her brother Jacob Wiesenthal. Chana made a second tapestry for her brother Samuel, which his descendants have. The tapestries are 48" by 22" and are embroidered in the same material used to make the black coats worn by Chasidim.
