Information from Jackie Wasserman Doerr <gwdoerr@execpc.com>

My grandfather, Robert Wasserman immigrated to the U.S. in 1893, in October of 1896, he filed his first papers to become a citizen. I don't know how long he might have stayed in Sheboygan, but by the year, 1900, he was in Milwaukee, and in the year 1902, he married Rose Blumberg, they had two children: Mildred and Sidney (my father). Sometime in 1914, the family moved to Sheboygan, where they stayed until approximately 1930. Robert Wasserman worked for a while at the Badger Bedding Company, (which was located at 1233-1235 Alabama Ave.). He eventually became president of the company, his wife, Rose was secretary/treasurer, and my father, Sidney, was a salesman. In 1922, the family was residing at 1011 Bluff Avenue, and in 1926, the address was 2119 North 12th. My aunt Mildred was a school teacher at Jefferson School.

Also, Rose Wasserman's sister, Esther Blumberg married a Julius Balkansky in 1910 in Milwaukee, WI., and then they moved to Sheboygan, where their three children were born: Evelyn 1911, Fannie, 1913, and Aaron, 1916. Aaron Louis changed his name to Louis Blaine, died in California, 1984.
