Translation of the document The Head of Rumsiskes Police Precinct Top secret August 19, 1941 Rumsiskes To the Director of Police Department Copies: to the Head of Kaunas region and to the Police Captain of Kaunas city and region REPORT According to the Head of Police Department writings (which was written August 15, No. 5) I would like to give evidence that there were 140 Jews-men, women and children in Rumsiskes. They all were accommodated into one district by supervising of Police August 15, 1941 where Germans and our soldiers came all Jews from 15 to 70 Years old which were distinguished as communists and which are dangerous at present system, dangerous to public trim and peace presently, were transported out from Rumsiskes. About 70 persons were transported and 70 ones stay in (mostly children and old people). These people who stay in were accommodated in one district by supervising.
