The home of Shmuel Hirshe Nochomowitz in Memelgasse (Memel Street)  Rietava.
On the right of the house is a small shop which was a pub, called a Pivnah.
The sign above the door calls it a gafhaus - guesthouse.
The licensee is shown as T Nochomowitz, ie Taube Dvora - Shmuel's wife.
The family was told that she used  occasionally to travel by horse and cart
over the German border to smuggle in beer.
