Adolf Schwartz
The form used in 1892 for New York City passenger-arrival manifests did not provide much information. Beginning in 1906, a new two-page form was used. Among the valuable data on the post-1906 form was the passenger's birthplace (which was not necessarily the "town of starting") and the names and towns of both the nearest relative left behind and the person to whom the passenger was going in America.
