Adolf Schwartz
Death certificates are said to be accurate only insofar as they state that the decedent has died; and even then, they have been known to err. Adolf Schwartz's son William reported to the city registrar that his paternal grandfather's name had been William, a name Adolf's father Farkas never had been called in his life. Farkas and his grandson William (who was named in his grandfather's memory) share the Hebrew name Zev.
