Rose Rosenblum Levine descended from a "long line of rabbis in Lomza, over 400 years", according to her daughter Ida Levine Berk. Rose Rosenblum had one glass eye due to an issue with a vaccination at a young age.

Rose's family left Lomza and went to Warsaw when the czar made a rule forbidding the teaching of children without a special license that Jews could not get.  Rose’s father moved to Manhattan around 1889 and began bringing his children one by one. His sister moved to Palestine/Israel with the surname Yellin.

Attached is a copy of a wedding invitation of Rochmiel Rosenblum and Chaya Hinda. It is dated 1853 and signed by the father of Rachmiel, Eli Beinush, son of Rabbi Aron Boruch Rosenblum.

Photo attached is of Rose and Jacob Levine's children and grandchildren. Rose and Jacob had 7 children in the US: Esther (Gentle), Mary (Cohen), Ida (Berk), Loui, Harry, Leo, and Ellie.
