July 2011

Dear Kremenets District Friends,

I have uploaded an updated revision list spreadsheet and updated Concordance to our Google website:

    https://sites.google.com/site/kdrgcontributors/

If you have contributed in some way to our work during the past two years, you have access to the KDRG Contributors website on Google and can view/download the spreadsheets. Please let me know if you believe you have contributed but you are unable to access the KDRG Contributors website.

This Revision List update has almost 9,800 new records, bringing the total to more than 51,000 rows in the spreadsheet. Most of the new records are for Radyvyliv, Yampol, Shumsk, Rakhmanov, and Pochayiv. These records generated about 14,000 new entries in the Concordance. The Concordance now has more than 141,000 entries, almost 66,000 of which are from the revision lists. The new names are not yet in our One-Step search engine on our Shtetlinks website.

We expect to have the search engine updated within the next few weeks.

Thanks to your cash donations, our translators have translated 6,368 pages of Revision Lists covering the period from 1811 through 1869. These contain records for 9,202 households in towns throughout the Kremenets District. We have another 9,300 pages that have not yet been translated.

If you donate either time or money to any of our projects, you receive access to our Google KDRG Contributors website where we post pre-release copies of translations and full copies of some of the original documents from which they are derived. The generosity of our members enables us to acquire new documents and to pay our translators. We hope you also will help fund our work by making a donation to our Kremenets account at JRI-Poland. Contributions to "Jewish Records Indexing - Poland" may be made by check, bank draft, money order, or credit card. Be sure to specify that your contribution is for the Kremenets Shtetl CO-OP.
