In the 1960s, the American Jewish Historical Society (AJHS) microfilmed the Jewish incorporation records for Landsmanshaftn and other town and country-related organizations incorporated in New York County the period from 1848-1920. These Landsmanshaftn provided social and economic services and support for their members. New York Metropolitan Area Burial Society Plots: In 1989, the Jewish Genealogical Society, Inc. (New York) began an effort to identify the names and cemetery locations of all Jewish burial society plots in the New York metropolitan area. These include plots of landsmanshaftn, synagogues, family circles, fraternal organizations and labor unions. The following Przeworsk cemetery plots are listed:

Synagogues: In 1939 the Federal Writers' Project of the Works Progress Administration (WPA) conducted a survey of all known houses of worship in the United States, both Jewish and non-Jewish. The synagogue listings for New York City are on five rolls of microfilm at the New York City Municipal Archives. They are Microfilm #'s (M.N.) 21318-21322, Roll #'s 319-323. The synagogues, divided separately by borough, are listed in the accompanying. Each entry contains both a Form # beginning with the letter "W" (in the upper left-hand corner of the form) and a Card # (in the upper right-hand corner of the form). The original gives the building address, the founding date, the names of the major officers, the number of members, the income of the last fiscal year, and the frequency of meetings or services. The listings for congregations also contain the name of the rabbi and cantor, the number of pupils and teachers in the religious school, and the names of auxiliary societies. The original has more information than is given below.
