Khodorkiv

Khodorkov is a small village located in Zhitomirskaya at 50°06' N, 29°18' E, 22 km from Popelnya, 70 km from Zhitomir and 94 km from Kiev and in the Kiev Gubernia. The earliest known Jewish community was 1765. 1926 Jewish population (census) was 453. Effecting the Jewish Community was 1918-1920 pogroms and 1941 Holocaust. Writer Oyslender Nohum (1893) lived here.
