No longer is she Rosa {Rifka} Slomovic but now , she is Rose Solomon in Cleveland, Ohio. She was home sick when she arrived. I don't know the name of the relative she stayed with, but I know she worked in a relative's restaurant and sent her earnings home. Her friends were cousins, all from Chumalovo, all named SOLOMON. There was Helen Solomon, Sadie Solomon, Max Solomon, and another Rose Solomon, to name a few.  She became an American. At age 22, in 1924 she married my father, Herman {Harry}Ganz {also from Maramoros} in the Maramoros Shule in Cleveland, Ohio.  Her family back home were always in her heart. She never went back home again.
