Note: The Mirsky family name was originally Zitomirsky. They were from Volodarka, and were cousins of the Zitomerskys from
Borshchagovka.
There were five Zitomirsky brothers from Volodarka:
1.Asher Zitomersky - remained in Russia. Fate unknown.
2.Herschel (Harry) Zitomersky - immigrated to Boston (Chelsea, MA.) Wife Rose SCHWARTZ.
3.Mendel Zitomersky - immigrated to Boston (Chelsea, MA.) Changed his name to Morris Cohen. Married Rose
SCHWARZMANN.
4.Shlomo (Solomon) Sitomirsky - immigrated to Melbourne, Australia. Changed the family name to Mirsky. Married Millie
SCHWARTZ.
5.Joseph (Ber) Zitomersky - immigrated to Toronto, Canada. Changed the family name to Mirsky. Married Sylvia BURSTEIN.
