My sister, Mrs. Agnes Kalan, was married to Tibor Kalan (Kahan). Tibor's father was the doctor of Bodrogkeresztur. Their house was located near the Catholic church. The Countess Szechenyi tried to save Dr. Jakab Kahan, from the deportation but she was unsuccessful. Jakab's wife, Frida Heller, was also deported to Auschwitz. some members of the Heller family survived the Holocaust; Margit and Mata are living in Budapest today.
