History of Jewish Life in Bialobrzegi

Source: Yale Reisner of the Jewish Historical Institute

While there was a jewish community in the 18th century, it was not an independent community. Instead, it was subject to the neighboring community of Przytyk. This changed in 1862 when Bialobrzegi became an independent community.

There was a Ghetto in the province of Radom from 1941 until October 1942. In 1942, all were taken to Treblinka.
