Elias Mikhel Skok and Hiena Golda Brenner were born about the mid 1800's and came to Bauska, Latvia from Zheimel, Pakruojis, Lithuania. Between 1874 and 1901, Elias and Hiena had ten children, Israel, Annie, David, Itzik, Ita, Moshe, Tilly, Frida, Leizer and Betty, all born in Bauska. The first child, Israel Abram, was born 12 July 1874, and died a few months before his third birthday. Leizer died before his first birthday in 1891. Tilly and Annie emigrated to England. In 1910, Tilly emigrated from England with her new family to New York. A few years later, David emigrated to the U.S. and then Betty followed with David's two children. In 1925, Fanija and Frida were in Riga, both died in the Holocaust. The fates of Elias and Hiena's other children, Itzik Zalman and Moshe is only presumed.
