Efim Uchitel ( October 15, 1913 Tiraspol -August 18, 1988 St. Petersburg)was a Soviet cameramen and director of documentary films. Efim had four siblings. His father worked in a printing house of the newspaper "Dniester Region". The family lived on Chappel Street in Tiraspol.

Izrail Lvovich Shmurun (July 19, 1912 in Tiraspol - June 28, 1985 in Kishinev) was a Moldavian Soviet architect. He developed Tiraspol master plan (in collaboration with V.P. Aleksandrov) in 1954, and in 1960-1963 he developed a reconstruction project of Tiraspol City Theatre (State Drama Theater) that was destroyed by fascists and the Theater Square, in conjunction with D.I.
