Hana Diamond, nee Grevler, and her husband David Diamond kept a kosher accommodation for summer visitors who used to come to Rozalimas. The air in the forests around Rozalimas was recommended and people came from everywhere.  Hana and David rented out rooms for the summer guests and so they met Sam Kramer, a teenager from Pakruojis and his father.  These two men rented a room in Hana’s house. Twice a year the Kramer’s  visited them , the father had health problems. Sam Kramer and Lea  Diamond , one of the children of Hana and David Diamond,  fell in love, but they were still too young to be married. Hana was accompanied by her daughters Ruth, Hilda, Leah and youngest son Aharon when she emigrated to South Africa in 1939. Sam Kramer and his father were already in South Africa since 1936.

The house of Hana and David was to be found  at the edge of Rozalimas. When people stayed there they very rarely visited the centre of the village. They stayed in the house and in and around  the forests.
